You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. My process is designed to help you work through the decisions in a thoughtful, organized way—from our first conversation through the completion of your estate plan.

A thoughtful process from start to finish.

Every estate plan is different, but knowing what to expect can make the process feel much more manageable. Here’s how we’ll move from your first questions to a completed plan.

Start with a conversation.

We’ll begin with a consultation focused on you—your family, your assets, your concerns, and what you want your estate plan to accomplish. You don’t need to know which documents you need before we meet.

Turn your priorities into a plan.

After you decide to move forward, I’ll provide a planning questionnaire to gather information about your family, assets, and priorities. We’ll use that information to talk through your options and shape a plan that fits your circumstances.

Bring your plan to life.

Once the planning decisions are made, I’ll prepare your estate planning documents and walk you through them before anything is finalized. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and make sure you understand how the pieces of your plan work together.

Put your plan in place.

We’ll complete the signing process and make sure you know what happens next. You’ll leave with a completed plan, an understanding of how it works, and guidance on any steps you may need to take after signing.

Come prepared to talk—not to have everything figured out.

Your initial consultation is a starting point. You don’t need to arrive with a complete inventory of your assets or every decision already made. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what matters to you, and what you’re hoping your estate plan will accomplish.

If you decide to move forward, I’ll provide a planning questionnaire to help gather the information we need. From there, I’ll guide you through the decisions and next steps as we build your plan.
